General Mission

• Under general direction of Corporate legal issues manager, tasks part in the overall activates of legal issues relating to corporate matters;
• Provides expert advice to management on any legal affairs
• Represents the company before the judicial and other tribunals.
• Contributes to cross functional actions to enhance the performance of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts research on minor corporate legal issues that require engagement of the management;
• Under the supervision of legal specialist or the manager, reviews/evaluates the potential legal issues in policy decisions, procedures and manuals of the company and processes measures that may help in filling the gaps observed in the documents.
• Under the supervision of legal specialist or the manager, studies problem and bottlenecks faced by the company in statutory regulations and law, internal regulation or policies. 
• Prepares legal advice and opinion on subjects that are relatively less complex.
• Represents the company before the judicial and other tribunals.
• Represents the company in out of court settlement negotiations.
• Under the supervision of legal specialist or the manager, conducts researches on subjects that may help to improve the safeguarding of the company’s legal interests and its compliance to its policies as well as national laws.
• Perform other related tasks as Instructed by corporate legal issues manager. 

Does:

• Reports to the Corporate legal issues manager for the case management and telecom issues in general case management and other decision making.
• Brings to the Corporate legal issue section required information/study/survey for decision making.

Qualification: Degree In Law (L.L.B)

Required Relevant Experience: 

• BA Degree in Law (L.L.B) or related field of study or level V in related field (COC is mandatory). With 2 years’ experience in attorney activates.
