The Founder of Coskal, Costas Kalogeropoulos, a Greek-Ethiopian national with a family presence in the Country for over 6 generations, based himself permanently in Ethiopia during the 1940’s. At a young age, Mr. Kalogeropoulos was the founder and major shareholder of the first international insurance company of Ethiopia, Lion Insurance.
Counting more than 60 years of invaluable experience in the Horn of Africa, Coskal is one of the strongest companies in import, export, re-export and distribution of alcoholic spirits, beverages & roasted coffee in the Horn of Africa and the only company with an active distribution network covering the vast majority of the Horn of Africa Region
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met
- Prepare financial management reports
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
- Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
- Monitor and support taxation requirements
- Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process
- Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data

Job Requirements
Education
- BA in Accounting
Service Year
- Minimum 10 years out of which 4 years at senior level position.
