Job Description

KRONES 

World market leader within the food and beverage machinery industry- designs, develops, manufactures and installs both machines and complete filling and packaging lines in a multinational environment. Its main customers being multinational breweries and beverage producers, food, chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish and keep close contact with all customers and provide effective customer solutions on entire Krones portfolio.
  2. Promote sales of New Machines and LCS Products (spare parts, rebuild/exchange programs, retrofits and Upgrades, overhauls and Service Level Agreements)
  3. .Build strong customer relationships with all key and potential players in the Ethiopian market
  4. Capture new machine and LCS product opportunities, prepare quotes, provide solutions and determine pricing quotations.
  5. Liaise with Krones New Machine and LCS Sales and technical teams based in Nairobi to obtain all necessary information and support.
  6. Keep customers informed about the status of their orders and ensure deadlines are met
  7. Build a strong network with key stakeholders in Krones AG
  8. Lead the communication between Krones AG and East Africa operational departments and the customer to facilitate the scheduling of resources and addressing warranty, replacement and additional parts issues
  9. Facilitate all client logistics, administration and financial management transactions
  10. Ensure all orders are completed according to agreement with customer
  11. Participate in special projects by helping to co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  12. Take ownership of receivable collections for Ethiopian customer
  13. Regular travel to customer locations and perform product presentations and attend relevant project meetings
  14. Grow the market for new machine and LCS products by identifying and engaging with new customers
  15. Provide mentorship to sales representatives

Job Requirements

Qualification and education required

  • University degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Process Engineering or Business Administration with a solid technical understanding
  • At least 3 years in a similar field/position

Knowledge and Experience

  • Customer relations and orientation
  • Basic understanding of Bottling plants and our Krones product portfolio
  • General project management abilities
  • Sales effectiveness and understanding
  • Good business administration and financial understanding
