Job Description
Borkena is a dedicated Ethiopian News portal with a commitment to defending Ethiopia's cause in the face of distorted narratives from mainstream media in the west as well as the narratives from radical ethnic nationalists.
While defending Ethiopia's cause, borkena has also been, for over ten years now, a platform for Ethiopians to share views and opinions.
We are currently looking for two English News writers/reporters based in Addis Ababa. It is a three months contract with the possibility of an extension.
Job Requirements
A combination of political science and journalism academic background is preferable. However, candidates from other academic backgrounds with experience in writing news content are encouraged to apply. A good command of the English language is a must.
