Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: To maintain accurate and timely book of accounts with special emphasis on the major tasks given below in order to provide management with information for decision making, to observe and implement accounting and internal control procedures adopted by the company.
MAJOR DUTIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: -
Timely and accurate recording of purchase invoice, expenses and
Preparing purchase orders
Following up on purchases and issuing goods received note.
Reconciliation of payables, receivables and bank and cash accounts
The job holder is responsible to perform any other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRMENTS
B.A in Accounting from a recognized University with very good academic record.
At least two-year relevant experience in a business organization preferably in the construction industry
Ability to work in a team under strict deadlines and pressure.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft office
Basic knowledge of the Ethiopian tax law
