We are recruiting an Artificial Insemination (AI) Technician for Ripple Effect (RE) projects planned to be implemented in Wolaita Zone.

Job requirements

For this vacant position we will consider applicants who have BSc preferred MSc. in Animal Science, Animal Production, or Veterinary Science and formal certification for practical and theoretical training on Artificial Insemination Techniques for a minimum of 45 days from a recognized university. At least 3 years of practical field level experience on provision of artificial insemination after completion of bachelor degree and AI certification; Proven experience of providing theoretical and practical training; Hands on experience on proper AI equipment handling, AI service provision and Pregnancy Diagnosis (PD) test. Preferable Work experience with NGOs; Experience of Project implementation at field level; Knowledge of Improved Animal Management and Sustainable Organic Agriculture.
