Job Summary:

The project officer is the key staff member of WAG’s team and is the ideal candidate will with a strong communication, detail oriented, organizational, and leadership skills and expected to be adept fast passed working environment and experienced in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. The Project Officer will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously in the creative industry, developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and with strong follow ups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in accordance with the organization’s overall goal and in alignment with the production head and WAG management.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, creatives, events, finance and admin to execute projects.

  • Provide on time reporting the production head and WAG management on projects.

  • Follow up on teams, clients or vendors to expedite project deliverable.

  • Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.

  • Conduct project post-analyses to identify areas for improvement and implement changes for future projects.

  • Manage project documentation including annual plans, proposals, contracts, minute notes, and change orders.

  • Conduct project risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

  • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices provides insight to the production head and WAG management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field in social field

  • 2 years of experience in managing projects

  • Any certification in Project Management will be preferred.

  • Follow up and communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Adept at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Creative problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Experienced in writing reports, proposals and concept notes.

  • Excellent in speaking and writing in English.
