About Nexus Ethiopia

Nexus Ethiopia is a national non-governmental and non-profit making humanitarian organization established and registered as per the new CSO’s proclamation 1113/19. Nexus Ethiopia is mandated to operate in all regions and City Administration in Ethiopia. To meet its objectives Nexus Ethiopia calls for competent professionals to apply for the LAF Officer position.

Roles and Responsibilities

  •  Undertake local procurement as required according to Nexus Ethiopia procurement policies; to ensure adequate documentation is prepared for all Purchases

  • Maintain a record of stocks in warehouse and undertake weekly, monthly and quarterly stock checks and share reports with HO Logistic officer and field level team leaders.

  • Control and manage all vehicles at mobile health site, to ensure that weekly safety

  • Ensure that mobile health staff plan for the week, to carry out fuel consumption checks and ensure that log sheets are correctly filled in.

  • Maintaining cashbooks and accounts records and ensure payments are allocated to the correct project and budget line

  • Collection of all the necessary documents, checked and attached to payment vouchers for submission to Head Office

  • Maintaining of up-to-date records of field staff leave entitlement, utilization both on hard and electronic database in your respective region. 

  • Experience on timesheet Administration System and follow up with strict compliance with standard and deadline

  • Distribute and follow up the implementation of performance evaluation

  • Manage staff contracts

Job Requirement and Qualification

Education: 

  • BA Degree in Logistics and Supplies Management, Procurement and Supplies Management, Management, Accounting and other related fields Experience:

  • Four years of experience in administering the logistics, finance and Human Resource of the program. Previous experience in NGO sector is mandatory.
