Job Description

The Sales Coordinator at Lemi National Cement plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by coordinating various activities aimed at driving revenue growth and expanding the company's customer base. This position involves liaising with internal departments, managing sales processes, and ensuring efficient communication with clients to meet sales targets and objectives.

 Key Responsibilities:

·      Assist the sales team in generating leads, prospecting potential customers, and identifying new business opportunities.

·      Coordinate sales activities, including scheduling appointments, preparing sales materials, and facilitating product demonstrations or presentations.

·      Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and product offerings aligned with customer needs and market trends.

·      Provide administrative support to sales representatives, such as managing calendars, organizing travel arrangements, and processing expense reports.

 ·      Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

·      Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

·      Coordinate follow-up communication with clients to nurture relationships, gather feedback, and facilitate upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

·      Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to provide insights for refining sales strategies and improving product offerings.

·      Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with pricing, discount policies, and contractual terms.

·      Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers, resolving any issues or delays that may arise.

·      Track order status, monitor inventory levels, and communicate updates to customers regarding shipment schedules and delivery arrangements.

·      Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to reconcile sales transactions, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure timely invoicing and payment processing.

·      Compile sales data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.

·      Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance trends, revenue forecasts, and pipeline analysis.

·      Analyze sales results against targets and benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions to enhance sales performance.

·      Provide training and support to sales team members on sales processes, product knowledge, and CRM system usage.

·      Conduct regular meetings or workshops to share best practices, discuss sales tactics, and reinforce team collaboration and motivation.

 Qualifications

·      MA/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, business administration, or related field.

·      Proven 8 years’ experience in sales coordination, sales support, or customer service roles, preferably in the cement industry.

 Abilities and Required Skills: 

·      Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

·      Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales productivity tools.

·      Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights for sales optimization.

·      Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate records, processing orders, and managing documentation.

·      Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing priorities and business requirements.

·      Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and driving results to achieve sales targets and objectives.

·      Have acetified driving license and proven driving experience
