Summary Job Description:  

• Patrol the office premises regularly, both indoors and outdoors, to deter crime and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.

• Takes care of all properties of the office during duty hours.

• Proactively respond to threats and emergencies, taking immediate action to protect the organization and its personnel.

• Hands over properties of the office using the process prepared for that purpose.

• Wears security uniform and remains around the gate and/or compound during duty hours.

• Immediately report anything missing to the appropriate person and communicate any suspicious acts of theft or robbery to the police station.

• Handling visitors coming to the office courteously and directing them to the appropriate staff.

• Takes care of the compound garden along with day-to-day grounds maintenance, if requested.

• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification:            Grade 10/12 Completed plus military training 

Experience:                Minimum of five years relevant experience as a security guard with military background. 

 Additional Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with employees, visitors, and law enforcement.

• Must be physically fit to perform the assigned duties.

• Military background is highly advantageous.  

• Recommendation letter from the most recent employer. 

• Able to present release letter from current employer in two weeks after job offer
