Job Description
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
Matches petty cash analysis sheet totals with the petty cash report and request form.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.
Makes sure transactions are recorded/data entered in the accounting software timely.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Reconcile account balances and bank statements monthly.
Mentor junior accounting staff and support team members.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax filings.
Coordinate with external tax advisors for complex tax issues.
Conduct Controls and support Audits:
Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
Coordinate and support external audits.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Manage collections and resolve any discrepancies.
Payroll Processing:
Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
Verify and reconcile payroll reports and related accounts.
Other Tasks:
Other additional financial tasks assigned by management
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience:- must have work experience in manufacturing and import export company :- above 5 years of experience as an accountant
