Established in 2019, Deborah Foundation is a registered non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of children with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities through support in the areas of Health, Education and Policy Advocacy.

 Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and a passion for helping clients achieve their personal goals.

 Responsibilities includes but not limited to: 

• Conduct assessments to identify clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans. 

• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and therapeutic techniques. 

• Monitor and document clients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to support clients’ treatment. 

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about behavioral health issues and treatment options. 

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions

 Number of Positions 

• Deborah Foundation is seeking to hire 2 full-time Behavioral Therapist

 Fixed term contract

 Salary – Net salary ETB 17,000

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Educational background in Behavioral Therapy

• Valid license to practice as a Behavioral Therapist 

• Experience in behavioral therapy or a related field preferred. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Compassionate, patient, and committed to client-centered care
