Job Description

A Construction Material Purchaser is responsible for procuring all the materials required for building projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.

  • Identifying and selecting reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

  • Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.

  • Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels to ensure that materials are available when needed without overstocking.

  • Ability to resolve issues that arise during the procurement process.

  • Understanding of construction processes and materials.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3 - 4 years of Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry at least for 3 years and more.

  • Experience with inventory management software and procurement systems.
