Job Description
A Construction Material Purchaser is responsible for procuring all the materials required for building projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overseeing the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.
Identifying and selecting reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.
Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels to ensure that materials are available when needed without overstocking.
Ability to resolve issues that arise during the procurement process.
Understanding of construction processes and materials.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3 - 4 years of Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry at least for 3 years and more.
Experience with inventory management software and procurement systems.
