Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Head to lead and oversee all human resources functions at Angla Burger. The HR Head will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s HR strategy, driving employee engagement, and ensuring organizational growth through effective talent management, employee relations, and compliance with local labor laws. This is a leadership position, ideal for an HR professional with proven experience in managing HR operations at a senior level, particularly within the hospitality or food service sectors.
HR Leadership & Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with the company’s mission and goals, focusing on creating a positive organizational culture and fostering employee engagement.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent and effective workforce planning to meet the company's evolving business needs.
Employee Relations & Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Performance Management & Development: Lead performance management initiatives, including setting clear objectives, conducting performance reviews, and identifying development needs. Ensure all employees are aligned with business objectives.
Training & Leadership Development: Drive the development of training programs to build employee skills and leadership capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring they align with industry standards and attract top talent.
HR Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable Ethiopian labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Develop and enforce policies to mitigate HR-related risks.
Data & Reporting: Regularly prepare and present HR analytics, reports, and insights to the senior leadership team to guide decision-making and improve HR processes and employee satisfaction.
Location: Addis Ababa, Bole Medhanialem, Morning Star Mall, 4th Floor, Angla Business PLC Head Office
Qualifications:
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations.
Proven track record of managing HR operations, building high-performance teams, and driving organizational change.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
Advanced proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office, and HR analytics tools.
