The Senior Technician installs equipment and systems, and supervises installation and assembly work done by other Technicians and external vendors. The Technician independently maintains equipment and systems, and conducts the testing of equipment and systems.

the Senior Technician (Mechanical and Electrical) performs preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. He/ She is technically inclined, knowledgeable and able to maintain various mechanical and electrical systems. In addition, he/she troubleshoots faults, and provides technical guidance and on-the-job coaching to the team. 

He/ She is required to work in shifts, and carries out duties at various rail premises such as workshops and at train stations. Able to communicate effectively, he/she works well in teams.

Job Requirements

• Educational background: - Level III, Level IV, Diploma on Industrial engineering, GMF and others 

• Experience: - Minimum 6/4 Years in plastic factory on injection and compressor machine 

• Assist in planning manpower for work activities.

• Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, procedures and regulations.

• Contribute to workflow improvement, planning and scheduling activities.

• Document inspection and maintenance activities.

• Ensure proper housekeeping of spare parts, equipment and tools.

• Perform fault analysis and testing of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Perform on-the-job coaching of team members.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.

• lead the technique team on maintenance of injection and blowing machines

• should have excellent problem solving and communication skills

• should have a basic knowledge and experience of piston type air compressor
