We are looking for a creative and versatile professional to work as both a Graphic Designer and Video Editor for producing high-quality educational content for the Tutor Me app. This role involves designing engaging graphics and animations while editing video footage to create visually appealing and effective learning materials for Ethiopian students.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and info graphics for educational videos.

• Design templates, layouts, and branding elements for the video content.

• Develop custom animations and motion graphics to enhance video engagement.

• Collaborate with the curriculum team to visualize complex concepts in an easy-to-understand format.

• Ensure all designs align with the Tutor Me app's branding and aesthetic standards.

Video Editing Tasks:

• Edit raw video footage to create polished educational content.

• Sync audio and video seamlessly, adding captions, transitions, and effects.

• Integrate animations and visuals into the videos to enhance learning outcomes.

• Perform color grading, noise reduction, and audio enhancements.

• Organize and manage video files for efficient post-production workflows.

• Collaborate with the production team and subject matter experts to meet deadlines.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer and/or Video Editor.

• Proficiency in design and editing software, including: 

• Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva.

• Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.

• Motion Graphics/Animation: After Effects or similar tools.

• Ability to create engaging visual content tailored for educational purposes.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality across multiple projects.

• Effective time management skills to handle both design and editing responsibilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to create visual content in Ethiopian languages 

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Creative problem-solving and adaptability.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
