To receive and conduct diagnostic work (brakes, hydraulics, fuel ignition, air conditioning, and electrical system etc.) on each vehicle coming to the technical service workshop for repair services and direct the vehicle to appropriate specialized maintenance workshop based on diagnostic finding. Hand over the vehicle to the client after maintenance work is  done.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs vehicles accurately and within a reasonable time frame and with a quality of work that exceeds customer expectations, 

• Performs diagnostic work accurately according to daily work orders as received  including: emission control systems; throttle body injection; electrical problems on computerized vehicles; conditions between computer, ignition, and mechanical problems; anti-lock brake systems; cruise control; all non-computerized accessories; drivability problems; on-board computer problems; import fuel injection; import ignition on computerized vehicles; auto transmissions; computerized A/C systems; and four wheel drive internal components

• Create estimates of repair costs based on inspection results and consultation with customers, 

• Communicate with customers to explain repair procedures and estimated time frames for completion of work, 

• Record all diagnostic report on the vehicle’s history jacket,

• Consult other technician based on the diagnostic report

• Assist other technicians when needed, 

• Check the vehicle’s maintenance status and hand over to the customer, 

• Calculate the cost of maintenance and notify to the customer, 

• Ensure maintenance records are made by respective workshop technicians and summit to Technical Services Reception & Data Clerk,

• Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills

• Diploma or Level 3/ 10+3 in General Mechanics or Auto Mechanics or related field of studies. 

  Experience: 

• 5 years  and Above

  Skills:

• Diagnostics skills

• Communication skills

• Driving skill (valid driving license Cargo3 or old 5th grade) is mandatory
