Job title: Senior Electrician

Duties and Responsibilites:

• The Electrician is responsible for installing and repairing electrical system   apparatus and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, schematic   diagrams, blueprints and other specifications.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, install and repair electrical parts, machines, drives, equipment and system. 

• Safely work with Multiphase, High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve control networks, instrument, PLC HMI, VFD servo and control problems. 

• Read and interpret work orders, safety rules, mechanical and electrical drawings, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulation of 5s

• Control down time by executing preventive maintenance and performing proper breakdown analysis (BID) & RCFA

• Perform prescribed preventative Maintenance.

• Follow Good Manufacturing practices (has been worked in PP engineering & HDPE factories   will be preferable. 

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:-

Educational Level: - BSC degree or Diploma in electrical technology from recognized institution. 

Experience: For BSC 5 year and above and for Diploma 7 years and above (working in PP and HDPE manufacturing is preferable.) 

Language Requirement: Fluent in speaking, reading and writing Amharic English and Afan Oromo is preferable
