Job Description
We are looking for a skilled AI Engineer or Data Scientist to enhance and build recommendation systems for both product metadata and group/product list optimization. You will be responsible for developing algorithms that help improve product descriptions, image tagging, as well as personalized product and group recommendations to drive customer engagement and boost conversion rates. Additionally, you’ll design notification sequences across the platform to enhance user experience by understanding user behavior.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Recommendation System Development: Design and optimize recommendation engines for product descriptions, tags, and metadata, ensuring accurate and personalized suggestions for users. Your work will directly impact user engagement and conversion rates.
Personalized Product & Group List Recommendations: Create and implement algorithms for product lists on the homepage, search results, reorder suggestions, and group lists based on user behavior and purchasing patterns. Your recommendations will drive higher customer satisfaction and repeat purchases.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product, UX/UI, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of recommendation systems that improve the user experience and drive sales. Your models will influence product strategy and marketing campaigns.
Image Recognition & Tagging: Implement machine learning models for automating product image categorization and tag generation. Your work will streamline product listing processes and improve searchability.
Continuous Optimization: Regularly monitor and optimize recommendation algorithms to improve accuracy and conversion rates based on A/B testing and performance metrics. Your iterative improvements will ensure the system remains state-of-the-art.
Personalized User SMS and Push Notification Design: Develop algorithms to personalize SMS and push notifications based on user behavior and preferences. Your work will enhance user engagement and retention.
Job Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in developing recommendation systems (collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, hybrid models).
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Familiarity with A/B testing and performance optimization for recommendation algorithms.
Experience with image recognition and automation of metadata tagging.
Solid understanding of user behavior analytics and personalization techniques.
3+ years of experience building recommendation systems or personalization engines.
Proficiency in collaborative/content-based filtering, transformers, and CNNs.
Experience with MLOps (model deployment, monitoring) and A/B testing.
