Duties & Responsibilities:

A Senior Auditor is responsible for leading and overseeing audit engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance, identifying risks, and providing recommendations for improvement, while also mentoring and developing junior auditors. 

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Auditor:

Planning and Execution of Audits:

• Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and schedules.

• Supervise and coordinate audit activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards.

• Identify and assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

• Review and analyze financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

Team Leadership and Mentoring:

• Lead and supervise audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior auditors.

• Coach and mentor junior auditors, fostering their professional development.

• Review and evaluate the work of junior auditors, providing constructive feedback.

Communication and Reporting:

• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.

• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit reports.

• Maintain effective relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Education: MA/BA degree in Accounting & Finance 

• Experience: 6 years of experience as an auditor Two years of job experience in manufacturing setting.

• Effective communication abilities are valuable.
