Research and recommend agricultural strategies to address challenges related to soil health, pest management, and changing environmental conditions impacting coffee production.
Conduct regular visits to company farms and coffee processing stations to monitor crop health and farming practices.
Collect and test soil, plant, and seed samples to identify nutritional deficiencies, diseases, or other issues affecting coffee growth.
Support the sourcing, testing, and selection of high-performing coffee plant varieties.
Maintain accurate records on coffee field performance, farm inputs, crop treatments, and processing outcomes.
Generate detailed reports and present findings to farm management, processing teams, and company leadership.
Provide training and technical support to field staff on sustainable farming techniques and agronomic best practices specific to coffee cultivation.
Collaborate with processing teams to ensure that post-harvest handling aligns with quality standards and agronomic recommendations.
Assist in the development of seasonal planting schedules, irrigation plans, and budget forecasts.
