We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Sr. Purchaser. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring goods, materials, and services needed for company operations in a timely, cost-effective, and quality-assured manner. This role requires strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management .

Duties and Responsibilities

•  Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and service.

• Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and follow up on delivery schedules.

• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure value for money.

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and timelines.

• Monitor market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and procurement ethics.

• Manage supplier performance through regular evaluations and feedback.

• Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and systems.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or trading company in Ethiopia.
