The purpose of the job is to oversee feeder and forming operations, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality glass products while maintaining equipment at optimal performance. This role involves supervising and managing staff to optimize workflow, monitoring product quality and troubleshooting defects, coordinating equipment maintenance and setup, preparing reports on production performance, and conducting training programs to enhance technical skills within the team. Additionally, the job requires regulatory compliance, efficient production scheduling, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and cost control measures

Job Requirement

• Education: BSc Degree or TVET level Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience out of which 2 years as a supervisor in manufacturing industry, preferably within a glass manufacturing environment

Desirable Skills

• In-depth knowledge of feeder and forming processes, including material properties and production techniques.

• Ability to implement and monitor quality standards, ensuring products meet specifications and industry standards.

• Strong knowledge of the glass manufacturing process and industry standards.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize processes and address defects.

• Strong leadership and people management abilities to mentor and guide teams effectively
