Job Title: Solutions QA Engineer

Job Requisite- Office based with possible 10% travel depending on project requirements

The Solutions QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of solutions. He/she will work closely with development, design, and support teams to execute quality assurance activities, and ensure that solutions are aligned with the customer expectations and requirements. He/she will be helpful in carrying out testing processes for a variety of softwares and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning:

   • Maintain and perform test plans for new and existing solutions.

   • Collaborate with the product development, and QA teams to define testing scope, requirements into test cases and develop comprehensive test plans.

   • Analyze product specifications, requirements, and user experiences to create clear, effective, and thorough test plans.

2. Test Execution:

   • Design, develop, and execute test cases based on requirements.

   • Perform manual/automated end-to-end testing with ticket tracking, customer discussions, document references, and advise the business analysts on the issue and solve.

   • Identify, report and track defects using testing methodologies.

3. Automation & Tools:

   • Control standard tools for test automation, performance testing, and load testing.

   • Suggest and implement improvements to existing testing frameworks and tools like JIRA, TestRail, and ADO etc… 

4. Continuous Improvement:

   • Apply process improvements to enhance testing efficiency, and regular team collaboration.

   • Identify risks early in the development stage and mitigate accordingly. 

5. Collaboration & Reporting:

   • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders

   • Provide regular status reports and updates on testing progress and defect trends.

   • Provide demo to customers, train end users and share the related knowledge to the team.

   • Participate in test planning, estimations and review meetings.

6. Documentation:

   • Document test cases, test results, defects.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent education and experience.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of software testing. 

• Knowledge of security testing practices and tools is a plus.

• Familiarity with tools (Jira, TestRail, ADO, Confluence) is a plus.

• Certification in software Testing QA is a plus.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a software testing role.

• Experience in testing enterprise-level solutions, web applications, and cloud-based platforms.

• Experience in both manual and automated testing processes.

• Strong understanding of databases and ability to perform data validation and troubleshooting.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong analytical thinking and ability to quickly adapt to new challenges.
