Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive production schedule that aligns with demand forecasts and inventory levels.

  • Ensure a smooth and efficient Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process that aligns with Heineken’s global standards. Work closely with different teams to make informed decisions, balancing supply and demand effectively. 

  • Plan and oversee production, inventory, and materials to ensure products are always available. 

  • Plan production capacity effectively across sites while keeping supply chain stock as per the inventory policy 

  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to schedules and resolve any production issues that may arise.

  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce waste.

  • Monitor key performance metrics, such as forecast accuracy (85%+), supply availability (98.5%+), and stock

  • levels. Ensure all teams follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and report performance regularly. 

  • Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for enhancement. 

  • Prepare monthly S&OP decks and reports for review.

  • Present data findings and insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Communicate changes in production plans and potential supply chain issues to stakeholders.

  • Act as a liaison between different departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve production goals.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in production planning, demand planning, material planning and inventory management.

  • Conduct a thorough data analysis and process mapping to identify obstacles, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop and implement relevant processes and technologies to optimize the organization’s internal operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.

  • Communicate with shareholders and stakeholders to ensure alignment on proposed changes.

  • Create process documentation and guidelines, including standard operating procedures and workflow diagrams.

  • Provide training and support to team members on new processes and best practices. 

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Engineering, or related fields. 

  • Minimum 4 years in a similar position managing S&OP or supply planning functions. 

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software and forecasting tools.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
