Fasika Preschool is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children and seeks staff who share this vision. Currently it has vacant spaces for kindergarten teachers who are passionate, qualified, and child-loving to join its growing team.
Required Number: 1
Position: Kindergarten Teacher
Location: Fasika Preschool, Sumit, around Safari Area, Addis Ababa
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
Deliver engaging instruction using various methods (e.g., songs, stories, play).
Teach foundational academic concepts (alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors).
Foster pre-reading, pre-writing, and pre-math skills.
Promote language development and communication skills.
Introduce social and emotional learning concepts.
Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs.
Prepare students for elementary education.
Job Requirement:
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Experience: At least 2 years of prior experience in early childhood teaching
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children
Punctuality and propensity to teamwork
