EthioChicken is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic reporting team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is passionate about working with data, learning new tools, and supporting the business with accurate and timely reports. The Junior Reporting Analyst will assist in collecting, analysing, and presenting data to support decision-making across different departments, with a special focus on sales and customer-related data requests. Training and mentorship will be provided to help the candidate grow into a future reporting and analytics professional.
Key Performance Indicators:
Timely completion of assigned reporting tasks.
Accuracy and reliability of prepared reports.
Demonstrated growth in analytical and reporting skills.
Assist in preparing reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
Support data collection, cleaning, and validation to ensure accuracy.
Help analyze trends and patterns in data and prepare basic insights.
Collaborate with team to understand and document reporting needs.
Handle sales-related requests from both internal teams and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Work closely on agent and sales-related data requests to ensure business teams receive accurate and actionable insights.
Provide end-user support in accessing and interpreting reports.
Participate in maintaining documentation of reporting processes.
Stay engaged in training and continuous learning on new tools and reporting methods.
Additional Mandatory Duties:
Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data used in reporting.
Work with the Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to prioritize tasks and deliverables.
Contribute to identifying opportunities for improving reporting processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
0–2 years of relevant work experience (internship or project experience in reporting/analytics is an advantage).
Basic knowledge of data analysis tools, especially Excel; exposure to Power BI is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to understand business processes and translate them into reporting requirements
Good communication and teamwork skills.
