We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize supply chain operations across our diversified investment portfolio including agriculture, high-tech smart card manufacturing, bottled water production, and other ventures. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end logistics, coordinate between Ethiopia operations and Dubai headquarters, and ensure efficient movement of goods across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain Management
Develop and implement integrated logistics strategies across all business units
Manage end-to-end supply chain for agricultural products, smart cards, bottled water, and other goods
Optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks
Coordinate import/export operations and customs clearance
2. Multi-Industry Logistics Coordination
Agriculture: Manage cold chain logistics for perishable goods, crop inputs, and equipment
Smart Card Manufacturing: Handle sensitive electronic components and finished product distribution
Bottled Water: Oversee bulk transportation and distribution network management
Develop industry-specific logistics solutions for each business unit
3. International Operations
Coordinate logistics between Ethiopia operations and Dubai headquarters
Manage international shipments and cross-border transportation
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations
Develop relationships with global logistics partners
4. Inventory & Warehouse Management
Implement inventory control systems across multiple warehouses
Optimize stock levels for raw materials and finished goods
Manage warehouse operations and layout optimization
Implement warehouse management systems (WMS)
5. Performance & Compliance
Monitor logistics KPIs and performance metrics
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian transport regulations and international standards
Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
Manage logistics budget and cost control

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Master's degree or professional certification (CILT, CSCP, CPIM) preferred
Experience:
Minimum 7 years in logistics and supply chain management
Minimum 3 years in senior logistics role
Experience in manufacturing/industrial logistics required
Multi-industry experience preferred
International logistics and cross-border operations experience
Language Requirements:
English: Fluent (verbal and written) - REQUIRED
Arabic: Professional proficiency - STRONG ASSET
Amharic: Professional proficiency preferred
