Job Description

The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate various initiatives within the Learning for Life Foundation, focusing on agriculture, consultancy, training, development, education, and environmental management. This full-time, senior position requires 5-8 years of relevant experience and will be performed remotely in the South West Ethiopia People's Region. The successful candidate will lead project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs. Strong leadership and communication skills will be essential for fostering relationships and driving team success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

  • Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and transparency.

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Resolve conflicts and challenges that arise during project execution, employing strong problem-solving skills.

  • Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing conditions or objectives.

  • Lead training and development initiatives for team members to enhance skills and foster professional growth.

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to support project success.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures throughout all project phases.

  • Evaluate project outcomes and prepare comprehensive reports for future improvement.
