Job Description

The Manager – Human Resource and Property Administration is responsible for overseeing the company’s human resource management and property administration functions. The role ensures effective human capital management, property utilization, maintenance, and administration to support GIFT Real Estate’s operational and strategic goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Human Resource Management

  1. HR Planning and Strategy

    • Develop and implement HR policies, strategies, and programs aligned with company objectives.

    • Advise management on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.

  2. Recruitment and Selection

    • Lead the full recruitment cycle, from manpower planning to onboarding.

    • Ensure a fair, transparent, and merit-based recruitment process.

  3. Performance Management

    • Implement and monitor the company’s performance appraisal system.

    • Guide department heads in setting KPIs and managing performance improvement plans.

  4. Training and Development

    • Assess training needs and design capacity-building programs.

    • Manage career development and employee growth initiatives.

  5. Compensation and Benefits

    • Develop and maintain competitive pay structures and benefits packages.

    • Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with labor regulations.

  6. Employee Relations and Compliance

    • Promote positive employee relations and a conducive work environment.

    • Handle grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution.

    • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and company policies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or Property/Facilities Management.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial position      .

  • Experience in real estate, construction, or large corporate organizations is highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and property management principles.

  • Proficiency in HR and property management systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
