Location: Kaliti, Addis Ababa

Employer: Mesale 6 Housing Cooperative

Contract Type: Contractual, renewable every 6 months

The Administrator will support the Mesale 6 Housing Cooperative by managing office administration, basic accounting tasks, record-keeping, and public relations. This role requires a well-organized, detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple responsibilities and maintain effective communication with members, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, prepare simple reports, and support budget monitoring.

  • Perform clerical duties, including filing, correspondence, and document management.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for cooperative members, partners, and visitors.

  • Manage public relations and communication activities, including drafting letters, announcements, and meeting notes.

  • Assist in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.

  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the cooperative office.

Contract Terms:

  • Contractual position, renewable every 3 months based on performance and cooperative needs.

  • Location: Kaliti, Addis Ababa.

  • Salary: Negotiable.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or related field.

  • Experience in office administration, basic accounting, or cooperative management preferred.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to use basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel).

  • Honest, reliable, and able to work under minimum supervision.
