The Purchasing role at BMY Medical Technologies is a full-time position designed for mid-level professionals with 3-5 years of experience. This position focuses on optimizing procurement processes within the Accounting and Finance sector. The Purchasing professional will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management while maintaining strong vendor relationships. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions within an office environment in Addis Ababa.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process for medical supplies and equipment.

• Analyze inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs.

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to achieve cost savings.

• Monitor market trends to identify potential purchasing opportunities.

• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure budget compliance and accuracy in purchases.

• Prepare and present purchasing reports to management.
