Job Description

KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU vehicle in Ethiopia. It is also working in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Customer Relation Manager (CRM) position.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for engaging with key customers by building and preserving relationships; identify opportunities to grow the customer base and build positive relationships with existing client's, creating new relationships with different segments of customers and making of environmental scanning for taping of possible opportunities while maintaining strategic and analytical approach when finding solutions to problems to ensure maximum client satisfaction. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop customer service procedures, policies, and standards for managing customer relationships.

  • Determine customer service requirements by maintaining contact with customers, visiting operational workplaces, conducting surveys, forming focus groups, benchmarking best practices, and analyzing information.

  • Ensure that proper, effective and legitimate services are provided to customers as quickly as possible.

  • Educate and train staff to increase awareness of employees about the need and requirements of customer services.

  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently and as quickly as possible.

  • Work closely with all functional units (including the Aftersales BU) to ensure that customer issues are handled to the satisfaction of clients/customers.

  • Ensure that customers are always communicated courteously by all means including telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face.

  • Investigate and solve customer problems that are known through conducting interviews, questionnaire or other method of collecting information.

  • Coordinate with managers and supervisors to discuss possible improvements to customer services procedures.

  • Educate and update customers by using applicable methods about changed products and/or service offerings, price and other aspects.

  • Compile vehicle sales performance reports on monthly basis for entering it into the online report folder so that it can be accessed and viewed by the ISUZU people.

  • Provide support to the Customer Relation (CR) officer under After Sales BU on all matters that relate to customers.

  • Coordinate with the Customer Relation (CR) officer under After Sales BU to ensure that customers are treated and served according to Company and ISUZU standards.

  • Prepare periodic reports customer related issues for submission to the Commercial Business Unit.

Job Requirements

  • Required Number           :  1(One) 

  • Qualification                    :  BA or MA in Marketing or related field

  • Work Experience            :  8 years for BA graduate and 6 years for MA graduate in relevant role

Skills and Abilities:

  • Communication – both verbal and written

  • Networking and conversation ability

  • Advertising and media skill
