Job Description

The role collaborates with business leaders to inform key financial and strategic decisions while leading the group’s budgeting and forecasting processes. It is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records across all group companies and for overseeing the precision and timely submission of all tax-related filings. The position also prepares periodic and ad-hoc management and financial reports, and provides critical support to business growth initiatives, cost optimization efforts, profitability improvement, and the overall long-term financial health of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure best practices in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes and ensure the plan is accurate and practical.

  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Monitor the group companies’ liquidity position

  • Ensure that fixed assets are tagged, registered and reconciled across the group.

  • Ensure that inventory transactions are recorded accurately in the financial system.

  • Provide detailed cost analysis and evaluate product profitability.

  • Ensure periodic and proper filling of all taxes required by the revenue office.

  • Ensures that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Analyze trends, financial data, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide insights and recommendations on financial performance improvement areas.

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of financial statements and disclosures to the management and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure the group companies financial plans and forecasts align with strategic business objectives.

  • Facilitate internal and external audits, and investigate their findings and recommendations.

  • Financial Business Partner to other departments of the group.

  • Continuously improve the financial planning, reporting, and analysis processes.

  • Build a high-performance culture within the corporate finance team.

  • Employee performance appraisal

    Ensures: 

  • Timely production of management and regulatory reports

  • Timely preparation of budgets, forecasts and latest estimates

  • OTIF filling and settlement of taxes imposed by MOR

  • Expenses are under control

  • The accuracy and completeness of the inventory and other financial records across the group companies

  • Proper advices are given to the management on matters that needs attention

    Does: 

  • Prepare and publish management and financial reports on time

  • Work with departments on budget and forecast setting

  • Control departmental budgets

  • Perform financial analysis

Job Requirements

  • BA & MA in Accounting and Finance 

  • More than 10 years of relevant experience
