KKGW General Import and Export is looking for production and technical supervisor.

Production and Technical supervisor oversee the production/assembly process and machines to ensure it runs effectively and efficiently. Carefully observing how production and technical team structure their workflows, applying hand on expertise, utilizing Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies and metrics to ensure that assembly and maintenance aligns with the necessary standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Team Management: Supervise, coach, and train teams to meet performance, quality, and safety standards. Assisting in the recruitment and on-boarding of new hires.

• Production Planning and Inventory Management: Coordinate with production planners to develop schedules, ensure raw materials availability and communicate the schedule. Ensuring the inventory management system is being utilized correctly and accurately.

• Problem Solving: Investigating and diagnosing faults and problems and determining appropriate solutions. Proactively identify bottlenecks, perform root cause and implement corrective actions. 

• KPI Tracking: Tracking production Key Performance indicators like OEE, TEEP, (Availability, Performance, Quality, and Utilization) and operational Key Performance Indicators like System downtime percentage, MTTR, MTBF, PMP. Working with teams to continuously improve safety and quality KPIs.

• Quality Assurance, Safety and GMP: Ensuring compliance with safety, Quality and professional standards are followed. Standardize the process GMP (Safety, 5S, quality measures testing are clearly defined, validated, reviewed, and documented).

• Maintenance and Operations: Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance (Following the types of maintenance) and tracking appropriate metrics.

• Continuous Improvement: Updating KPIs in performance management boards and promote continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, 5S, Kaizen, GMP, Safety and etc. 

Job Requirements

Common Requirements 

Education: BSc degree in Electromechanical/Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

Experience: A minimum of four to six years of experience working as an Electromechanical/Electrical/Mechanical engineer, with two of those years spent in supervision.

Skills: CAD, Software’s, Technical expertise, Strong leadership, Problem-Solving, Team management, Effective communication, Conflict resolution, Decision making, are essential. 

Knowledge: Lean manufacturing and Six sigma methodology and metrics, Supply chain management, GMP, and etc.
