Job Description

HAPPY OPTICS OPTOMETRY CLINIC, a leading provider of eye health services, is seeking to recruit qualified, motivated, and results-oriented employees through a competitive process. The required job positions and requirements are listed below:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for Happy Optics and perform the following tasks:

  • Customer Greeting and Registration: Welcome customers with a smile and professional ethics, book appointments, and complete information registration.

  • Appointment Management: Manage the schedules of ophthalmologists and optometrists, organize appointments, and inform customers in a timely manner.

  • Office Duties: Answer phone calls and emails, organize office documents, and maintain the cleanliness and order of the clinic's front desk area.

  • Payment Collection: Receive payment for services rendered and eyeglasses sold, issue receipts, and prepare a daily cash report.

  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team by introducing various eyeglass frames and lenses to customers.

Job Requirements

Required Work Experience and Skills:

  • Education Level: At least a Diploma or bachelor's degree in administration, Secretarial Science, Hotel Management, or a related field.

  • Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar Receptionist or Customer Service role is preferable. (Experience in a health institution is a plus).

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is essential.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in speaking and writing Amharic; proficiency in English is an added advantage.

  • Key Characteristics:

    • Cheerful and sociable.

    • Possesses good Communication skills.

    • Has excellent time management and organizational skills
