About the Role:

CCECC Ethiopian Branch is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson specialized in building structures. The candidate will prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings for construction projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and project specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 • Prepare and develop architectural and structural drawings based on project requirements.

 • Convert sketches and concepts into detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.

 • Perform structural calculations and ensure drawings comply with codes and standards.

 • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify design requirements.

 • Revise drawings based on feedback and project changes.

 • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for all projects.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

•  Deploma/Degree in a related field (Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent).

•  Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in preparing structural and working drawings.

•  Experience as a draft person for building design structure engineers.

•  Professional registration with the Institute of Building Design Structure Engineers.

•  Ability to use office software and design software to perform structural calculations and drawings.

•  Familiarity with Ethiopian work standards and building codes.

•  Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design tools is an advantage).

•  Strong English communication and writing skills.

•  Ability to work under pressure, follow work arrangements, and demonstrate team spirit.

 Additional Requirements:

 Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering is a plus.
