Position: Electrical Engineer

Workplace: Addis Ababa + Project Sites

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: Based on company scale

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare electrical designs, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings

• Produce BOQs, specifications, and cost estimates

• Conduct site assessments, load calculations, and power distribution planning

• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance work

• Provide technical guidance and quality assurance support

• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety, and engineering best practices

• Prepare technical documents, reports, and project files

• Coordinate with other engineering teams on integrated works

Job Requirements

Education

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or related fields

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design, installation, or electromechanical projects

• Experience in telecom tower power systems, electrical distribution, or industrial power installation is an advantage

Desirable Qualities

• Strong design and analytical skills

• Ability to produce accurate BOQs and technical documentation

• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
