The Special Needs Department General Coordinator will provide strategic leadership and oversight for all special education services. This senior role involves developing programs, training staff, and ensuring compliance with laws to support students with diverse learning needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and coordinate the entire Special Needs Department.

• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

• Train and support teachers and assistants on inclusive education strategies.

• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to support students.

• Ensure the school's compliance with special education laws and regulations.

• Manage the department's budget, resources, and reporting.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, Psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in special education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• In-depth knowledge of various learning disabilities and intervention strategies.

• Strong leadership, program development, and administrative skills.

• Certification in Special Education is highly desirable.
