Job Description

The Senior Planning & Reporting Expert is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic plans, financial forecasts, and performance reports. The role involves data analysis, economic forecasting, and providing insights that support decision-making for organizational growth and efficiency.

Job Title: Senior Planning & Reporting Expert

Place of work: Addis Ababa

Salary: Negotiable

Terms of Employment: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the organization's goals.

  • Conduct economic analysis and forecasting to support decision-making.

  • Prepare financial reports, budget plans, and performance analysis.

  • Track financial performance and recommend cost-effective strategies.

  • Collect and analyze data to measure the performance of projects and programs.

  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools for effective data visualization.

  • Collaborate with different departments to gather data and insights.

  • Provide clear and concise reports to senior management and external partners.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Economics, or in a related field of study

  • Experience: 6 years for Master's and 8 years for Bachelor's Degree

  • Manufacturing experience is preferable

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in project management and performance monitoring.

  • Knowledge of international economic policies and trends.

  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
