We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data & Project Support Officer to support strategic initiative, operational decision-making, and cross-functional projects across Minaye Group. This role plays a key part in transforming raw data into actionable insights, coordinating performance monitoring systems, and supporting business units with data-driven recommendations.

The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex datasets, and the capacity to manage projects, reporting cycles, and performance dashboards across multiple business lines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Insights for Strategic Initiatives

• Collect, clean, and analyze operational, financial, and performance data across Minaye Flowers, Minaye Packaging, MinAddis Paint, Deluxe, and newly acquired entities.

• Produce dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports that support investment decisions and operational improvements.

• Translate raw data into insights that guide management decisions on expansions, acquisitions, and performance gaps.

• Conduct variance analysis, productivity analysis, and forecasting.

• Prepare periodic performance briefs for Executive Management and business unit heads.

2. Project Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and progress milestones are met.

• Prepare project documents, feasibility assessments, and data-driven business cases.

• Support transition plans for new projects, expansions, or acquisitions by tracking KPIs and operational metrics.

• Manage documentation, action trackers, and reporting schedules for all assigned projects.

• Act as a bridge between operations, engineering, finance, and strategy teams to ensure accurate data flow and alignment.

3. Digital Systems & Data Management

• Manage master datasets across systems including Excel, Google Sheets, and other platforms.

• Develop automated templates and dashboards to streamline reporting.

• Support system upgrades, data migration, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Ensure data integrity, completeness, and confidentiality.

• Assist in preparing data-driven documentation for donor projects, funding proposals, and strategic partnerships.

• Support reporting requirements for investors, partners, and development agencies.

• Compile required data, evidence, and KPIs for grant and investment follow-ups.

4. Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure all reports, presentations, and documentation meet Minaye Group quality standards.

• Perform any additional duties delegated by the line manager.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years’ experience in data analysis, business analytics.

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with cross-functional teams and multi-business reporting environments.
