Job Description

The Junior Legal Officer supports the legal department by assisting with drafting legal documents, conducting research, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing legal advice under supervision. This entry-level role is ideal for law graduates looking to develop their career in a corporate or institutional legal environment.

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to corporate, labor, commercial, or regulatory law.

  • Help ensure the organization complies with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.

  • Support in handling legal disputes, claims, and litigation cases.

  • Maintain and organize legal files, records, and documentation.

  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and advise management on potential impacts.

  • Liaise with internal departments and external legal counsel as directed.

  • Assist in preparing reports, legal opinions, and case summaries.
