Job Description
AddisFly seeks an innovative and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and campaigns. This role focuses primarily on digital and social media marketing but encompasses the management of all marketing efforts to enhance our brand visibility, engage with customers, and generate leads. The ideal candidate will be skilled in strategy development, content creation, audience interaction, and data analysis, with a passion for the travel and visa services industry
Strategy Development: Design and execute marketing strategies to promote AddisFly’s services, including flight bookings, visa services, and travel packages.
Content Creation: Develop and manage engaging content on travel, visa services, and related topics across various platforms.
Social Media Engagement: Actively engage with audiences by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms to build relationships and trust.
Market Research: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform marketing decisions.
Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and evaluate marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
Lead Generation: Drive leads and inquiries through effective use of digital platforms, events, and partnerships.
Social Media Management: Oversee AddisFly’s social media presence by creating, scheduling, and optimizing posts, and running targeted ad campaigns.
Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign results using metrics and analytics tools to refine strategies and achieve goals.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including the booking and visa teams, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
Brand Building: Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
Education: Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Certifications: Certifications in Digital Marketing or Social Media Marketing (preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the travel or visa consultancy industry.
Proven success in lead generation, campaign management, audience engagement, and achieving measurable marketing goals.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with travel and visa consultancy trends and consumer behavior.
Tools Proficiency: Experience using tools like Google Docs, Canva, and social media management platforms. Bonus: Skills in video editing and graphic design.
Customer Engagement: Proven ability to interact effectively with customers on social media, addressing queries, comments, and messages professionally.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
Analytical Ability: Strong skills in analyzing campaign performance and using data to drive decisions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager).
Creative: Capable of thinking outside the box to design engaging campaigns and content.
Proactive: Takes initiative in identifying opportunities and solving problems.
Confident: Handles challenges with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
Office Environment: Primarily office-based, with some flexibility for remote work.
Working Hours: Full-time position with standard working hours. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required during campaigns or event
