Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a proactive and organized Dealer Network Development Officer to identify, onboard, and manage authorized dealers across Ethiopia. The role involves expanding the company’s distribution footprint, maintaining productive relationships with existing dealers, and supporting sales performance through structured engagement and consistent communication.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Dealer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain regular contact with existing dealers to ensure strong relationships and consistent sales growth.

  • Monitor dealer performance, order frequency, and stock levels to ensure smooth operations.

  • Collect market feedback from dealers regarding customer preferences, pricing, and competition.

  • Provide support to dealers on product updates, pricing revisions, and promotions.

  • Coordinate with logistics and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and payment follow-ups.

Dealer Identification & Onboarding:

  • Research and identify potential dealers in key regions to expand market coverage.

  • Conduct background evaluations and assessments of prospective partners.

  • Lead the on-boarding process by ensuring compliance with company requirements and standards.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate dealer setup, documentation, and initial training.

Market Expansion & Reporting:

  • Develop and execute regional expansion strategies based on market demand and competitive mapping.

  • Track and report dealer sales performance, regional sales trends, and distribution gaps.

  • Recommend improvement plans and business initiatives to enhance dealer efficiency and coverage.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2-5 years

  • Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Experience in sales and dealer management

  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the electronics, home appliances, or wholesale distribution sectors.

  • Experience with e-commerce tools and digital marketing strategies
