Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Farm Supervisor to join our team at Jimma Haggaro Jemo Farm, Bench Sheko Zone, Ethiopia. The Farm Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing various farm operations, including personnel management, financial transactions, inventory control, and security procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Management:
Develop annual integrated crop and livestock production plans with budget projections, in consultation with department heads.
Oversee implementation of production cycles and ensure quality standards are met through regular farm inspections, record keeping, and reporting.
Manage procurement of inputs, supplies, equipment, and infrastructure upgrades required to achieve production targets.
Foster relationships with external consultants, researchers, and industry bodies to stay abreast of new technologies, varieties, and best practices.
Team Management:
Lead a diverse team of 50 staff across Production, Operations, Processing, Administration, and Security functions.
Conduct performance reviews and implement training programs to continuously develop team capabilities.
Facilitate effective communication across teams through regular meetings, documentation, and proactive issue resolution.
Prioritize and monitor occupational health and safety standards, while championing employee well-being initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Education: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in agriculture or related field
Experience: 4 years of work experience, out of which 2 years of experience in Corn farming and in Furrow irrigation.
