We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and reporting cost data to ensure accurate product pricing, profitability analysis, and financial efficiency. This role is critical for driving informed business decisions and maintaining cost control across operations.

Duties and Responsibilites:

• Prepare and analyze cost reports for products, projects, and operations.

• Monitor and evaluate material, labor, and overhead costs.

• Assist in the preparation of cost budgets and rolling forecasts.

• Collaborate with management to develop cost standards and budgets for new projects.

• Maintain accurate costing for inventory, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

• Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and adjustments.

• Develop accurate cost structures for pricing new and existing products.

• Evaluate the profitability of products and services to inform strategic decisions.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or in a related field of study

• Experience: 2 years and above in manufacturing

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
