The senior site engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, plan, setup and preparation of a project site before the main work begins. This role is crucial in ensuring that the site is ready for operations on time providing functional and safe facilities for project team and other stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Facility planning
Plan the setup of the site, including access roads, temporary offices, storage areas, production areas, utilities and workers accommodations as per standard requirements.
Plan the budget/ allowable cost, manpower, material, equipment and machinery requirements for site establishment activities.
Logistics and Resource Management
Allocate personnel for projects site establishment activities.
Coordinate the delivery of materials, equipment and machinery for the site establishment activities.
Establish a project site
Build a team for establishment works, manage the workflow, cost, quality and on setting up of facilities as per the project schedule.
Ensure the site is cleared, leveled, built with all facilities and ready for project activities.
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with all stakeholders and address and issues that may arise during the establishment phase.
Maintain site records and reports.
Foster Innovation
Foster and implement innovative ideas for simple, flexible and standardized establishment methods to minimize cost, construction time and provide comfortable work environment.

Job Requirement:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
Experience: More than 6 years of proven experience in site management, construction, or project setup.
MSc or BSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, Water Engineering or in a related field of study with relevant work experience
