Duties & Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage the market research and analysis team to ensure high-quality research and actionable insights are delivered on time.
Provide mentorship and training to team members to improve their skills and foster professional growth.
Allocate tasks and resources to optimize team performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Market Research Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive market research strategies to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
Set objectives for primary and secondary research, including data collection methods and analysis approaches.
Ensure research methodologies are aligned with business goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Data Collection & Analysis:
Oversee the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and secondary data collection.
Analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights that can inform strategic decision-making.
Use advanced statistical tools, data analytics platforms, and software (e.g., SPSS, Excel, Tableau, etc.) for data analysis.
Customer & Market Insights:
Provide deep insights into customer behaviors, preferences, and market trends to support marketing, product development, and sales strategies.
Identify emerging market opportunities and potential threats, presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
Conduct competitor analysis and track industry trends to help the company maintain a competitive edge.
Reporting & Presentation:
Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive reports on research findings and insights, presenting results to stakeholders and senior management.
Design presentations and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data in an understandable way for non-technical audiences.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and senior leadership teams to ensure research efforts align with business needs and priorities.
Provide actionable insights to help guide marketing campaigns, product development, and customer experience improvements.
Budget & Resource Management:
Manage the budget for market research projects, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of research initiatives.
Identify resource needs, including external research partners, and manage relationships with vendors, agencies, or freelance researchers.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends, new research methodologies, and emerging technologies in data collection and analysis.
Continuously improve research processes and tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the research team’s output.
Perform other job-related duties as required by the company
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Market Research, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Master’s Degree (optional) in Market Research, Business Administration (MBA), Data Science, or another relevant field can be advantageous for more senior roles.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in market research or data analysis, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.3
