Warehouse guard 

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

§       Ensures that the building and the properties inside are well guarded

§       Ensures that unauthorized visitors do not access the compound

§       Asks visitors for an ID card, check its validity, inspect handbags, register visitors in visitor’s log book and direct to the right office

§       Treats all visitors politely and get the permission of the staff to be visited prior to letting in any visitor;

§       Identifies strange visitors and inform supervisor immediately prior to letting the visitor

§       Reports immediately on any suspect of insecurity to the immediate or next level supervisor

§       Inspects materials and equipment that are left at the gate by the visitors or staff

§       Ensures that the vehicles both SCI and visitors are safe while parked inside and outside the compound

§       Directs drivers to park vehicles where it is appropriate and in case of SCI staff, makes sure vehicles are parked in the areas assigned

§       Ensures that the office building compound is neat and tidy everyday

§       Inspects lights, locks, doors, windows of the building

§       Performs other related tasks as required

Job Requirements

§       Completion of12th grade or 10th grade with current educational system.

§       Strong interpersonal skills & excellent team player.

§       Willingness and ability to work in hardship environment.

§        Cultural and gender sensitivity.

§        Knowledge of the local language is Mandatory.

§       One year related experience. NGO experience is preferable.
