Job Description
A. JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for the financial health of the company. Producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research.
B. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, organizes and manages the Department’s day-to-day activities.
- Directs the different sections of the Division.
- Handles all financial matters of the Company.
- Generates ideas and advises the GM as to how to improve the financial system of the Company.
- Organizes and facilitates the financing of projects in consultation with GM.
- Verifies all Company payments and forwards to the GM for approval.
- Ensures that all books of accounts of the company are maintained properly.
- Prepares and submits consolidated financial report for each construction project at the end of each phase.
- Prepares periodic financial reports of the company.
- Ensures that all financial transactions of the company are properly registered.
- Prepares quarterly cash (in and out) flow statements/forecast/.
- Prepares monthly cash flow statement/retroactive/.
- Follows the liquidity status of the Company and advises on corrective measures to be taken.
- Advises GM on how to balance the demand for and supply of financial resources.
- Calculates tax and transfers same upon approval to the tax authorities on a timely basis.
- Makes the accounts of the Company ready for internal as well as external auditors.
- Implements corrective measures suggested by auditors after approval by the Company Senior Management.
- Regularly report to GM activities performed and tasks accomplished by the Division.
- Performs any other duties as deemed necessary.

C. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
- Qualification
- BA/MA Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Work Experience
- Above 6 Years out of which 4 years in construction industry
- Special Skill/ Training Required
- IT Application
- Accounting Software
- Good Interpersonal Skill
- Good Reporting Skill
